IS ORANGES & LEMONS DOG FRIENDLY?
Yes! We love dogs and are always thrilled to welcome them inside or outside.
ARE THERE VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes, we have a full vegan menu and plenty of vegetarian options on our main menu. We also have vegan cakes and vegan ice cream.
If there is a dish that you would like tweaked because of dietary requirements, we will always try to accommodate you as best we can. Speak to our staff about your requirements when you're in.
ARE THERE GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes, we have gluten-free options available across our main menu and specials board. We also always try to ensure at least one of our cake options is gluten-free.

DO YOU HAVE AN OUTSIDE AREA?
Yes we do! We have a lovely courtyard area with some undercover seating for the rainy summer days.
IS BOOKING REQUIRED?
Booking is not required, but it is encouraged on a Saturday. We will always try our best to find a table for everyone. Book here!
DOES ORANGES & LEMONS SELL FABRICS OR HAVE A HABERDASHERY?
We do not – we stopped selling fabrics in December 2021.
DOES ORANGES & LEMONS STOCK FRENCHIC PAINT?
We no longer sell Frenchic Paint as of summer 2025.
WHERE IS ORANGES & LEMONS?
Oranges & Lemons is in East Bergholt, Suffolk. East Bergholt is located halfway between Ipswich and Colchester; it is approximately 20 minutes from either town by car.
By foot, we are 20 minutes from Flatford, 10 minutes from the centre of East Bergholt and 40 minutes from Dedham.
We are 2 miles away from Manningtree train station.
ARE MILK ALTERNATIVES AVAILABLE?
Yes, oat milk is available.
