Oranges & Lemons is a family-run business in the heart of Constable Country, servicing hundreds of people a week, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, cakes, coffees, and more! Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Make and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistent high quality

• Welcome and seat customers, take telephone bookings and handle other enquiries from customers both face-to-face and over the phone

• Take orders, clear tables, and plate up cakes from our cake cabinet throughout shifts, ensuring a friendly and professional attitude at all times

• Restock supplies as needed to ensure a smooth service throughout shifts

• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold food safety standards

• Support team members during busy periods to deliver excellent customer service

• Set up before service begins and clean down after service finishes

 

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous barista experience or working in a cafe environment

• Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy

• Good time management skills

• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to learn new skills and an ability to adapt

• Positive, friendly attitude 

• Strong listening and collaboration skills
